Director of Product Management, Security

We're looking for a Director of Product Management to own our security product strategy end to end - the vision, the roadmap, build vs buy decisions. You will set the multi-year investment strategy for our security offerings, go deep with engineering on database security, networking, and identity management. You will be the subject matter expert for other PMs navigating security-adjacent decisions.. Responsibilities - Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for our security offerings, and make the case for it - internally with engineering and leadership, and externally with customers and the market. - Go deep on database security, networking, and identity and access management (IAM) - enough to argue the details with engineering, not just approve what they propose. - Partner closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ship products that are actually secure, not just marketed that way. - Translate complex security requirements into specifications and user stories that engineering can understand. - Own backlog prioritization and the trade-offs that come with it, weighing business value, customer risk, and engineering cost. - Drive go-to-market for security launches - positioning, sales enablement, documentation. - Monitor how security features perform in the real world and use that data, not just instinct, to decide what to build next. - Be the security subject-matter expert other teams come to, and provide guidance and coaching to PMs working on…
