Software Engineer SLAM (F/M/D)

OUR VISION When people use our technology to "bridge the gap" between the physical and digital worlds, they don’t just capture reality - they create a new one. In this new reality, they are smarter, more productive, more streamlined, and more creative - because they have the digital foundation to build the world they want to live in. That’s what NavVis offers in all our products and services: the tools to not just map the world as it is, but to pave the way to a better future. To forge something new. Physical or digital, there is only one reality. And it’s the reality NavVis empowers people to build better. THE OPPORTUNITY Are you an experienced software engineer who has worked hands-on with SLAM algorithms in a professional environment? Join our Mapping & Perception team and contribute your expertise to the development and improvement of the SLAM algorithms powering our mobile mapping systems. You'll work on real-world challenges involving sensor data, localization, mapping accuracy, and algorithm robustness, helping us continuously improve the performance of our mapping technology. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT • Development of SLAM algorithms at the core of our mapping devices. • Systematic evaluation of accuracy, robustness and the performance of algorithms and sensors. • The processing pipeline from raw sensor data to the generation of point clouds and maps. • Continuous improvement of automated tests and automated delivery of software. WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE…
